Prior to co-founding Impact Human Performance, Alex was a Performance Coach and Implementation Lead at the Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute. In this role, he leveraged his comprehensive expertise and research-backed insights to deliver innovative opportunities across the institute. His efforts contributed to the development and implementation of cutting-edge performance strategies designed to help individuals and organizations thrive in high-pressure environments.

Alex’s professional accomplishments are bolstered by an impressive academic background. He earned a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Psychology from the University of Central Florida, where his dissertation explored ice hockey coaches’ perceptions of coach education programs through USA Hockey. By gathering data from coaches and analyzing global gold standards, Alex was able to recommend actionable improvements to enhance buy-in and support from coaching professionals.
His academic journey also includes a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, during which he investigated the effects of animal- and plant-based proteins on muscle protein synthesis.
