Early Life and Athletic Career

Growing up in a small town in Idaho, Jill developed a love for sports and an appreciation for hard work. Her formative years were spent riding horses and playing a variety of sports, which fostered her competitive spirit and laid the foundation for her athletic journey.
Jill’s exceptional talent in track and field earned her a full-ride scholarship to the University of Idaho, where she competed as a javelin thrower. Her dedication and skill propelled her to the highest levels of competition, culminating in her participation in the 1996 U.S. Olympic Trials for javelin. This experience cemented Jill’s belief in the power of discipline, perseverance, and physical fitness as tools for achieving greatness.

Transition to Strength and Conditioning

After her athletic career, Jill found her natural place in the gym, where she felt most at home. This passion for fitness inspired her to pursue a career as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Jill earned her Master’s degree in Exercise Science from San Diego State University, where she gained hands-on experience working with collegiate athletes in the weight room. Her time at SDSU solidified her expertise in exercise physiology and her ability to guide athletes toward peak performance.
Jill’s professional journey brought her to The Daniel L. Ritchie Center at the University of Denver, where she continued to develop and share her knowledge. Her dedication to fitness education and her drive to help others achieve their goals have made her a respected figure in the health and wellness community.

Arete Warrior Program:A Holistic Approach to Wellness

Jill’s passion for empowering others extends beyond physical fitness. She is the founder of the Arete Warrior Program, a holistic initiative designed to help mothers and their children build strength in spirit, mind, and body. Through this program, Jill creates opportunities for families to grow together, fostering self-awareness, discipline, and a commitment to personal wellness.Her work with Arete Warrior reflects her belief in the importance of balance and her desire to make fitness accessible and meaningful for individuals of all ages.
